Who is eligible for Halftime?

Adults 21 and older who are located nationwide; joining is not the same as qualifying for a prescription. Every protocol starts with a baseline blood panel of 20 biomarkers. A licensed physician reviews your labs and your intake, then decides whether a protocol is appropriate for you.

A physician may determine that a treatment is not appropriate. Membership does not include or guarantee any treatment. Availability depends on the state you are located in and may change.

Do I need blood work before a protocol?

Yes. Every protocol requires a baseline panel so your physician can prescribe from your labs. The panel gives the physician a baseline to decide from. Your onboarding panel is included in membership.

Who makes the medical decisions?

Halftime Health is not a medical provider and does not practice medicine. Medical services are provided exclusively by independently licensed physicians of our partner physician network and their affiliated professional entities. Halftime is the platform. The physician decides whether a protocol is appropriate, and the dose.

Is my physician licensed in my state?

Yes. Your physician is licensed in the state where you are located.

Is Halftime legitimate?

Licensed physicians review your results and decide on every protocol. Prescriptions are filled by licensed 503A compounding pharmacies. A CLIA-certified lab analyzes your panel.

Is Halftime for women?

Yes. Halftime is for adults 21 and older. There is a men’s panel and a women’s panel, and each measures 20 biomarkers. The women’s panel includes progesterone.

Does Halftime replace my primary care physician?

No.

Halftime Health is not a substitute for your primary care physician or for emergency care. If you have a medical emergency, call 911.

Which biomarkers does the baseline panel measure?

Each panel measures 20 biomarkers: 19 markers that every panel shares, plus PSA on the men’s panel, or progesterone on the women’s panel. You collect your sample at home with the kit, and a CLIA-certified lab analyzes it.

• Hormone: SHBG, DHEA-S, FSH, LH, Estradiol, Testosterone (total), Free testosterone (calculated).
• Lipid: Cholesterol, HDL, LDL, VLDL, Triglycerides, Cholesterol/HDL ratio, LDL/HDL ratio.
• Kidney: Creatinine, eGFR (creatinine clearance, calculated).
• Liver and protein: ALT, Albumin.
• Metabolic: Hemoglobin A1C.
• Sex-specific: PSA on the men’s panel, or progesterone on the women’s panel.

Does the blood draw hurt?

It is a comfortable at-home blood draw. You collect your sample at home in minutes with a guided kit, and mail it back in the prepaid package.

How long do results take?

Read your own bloodwork in about five days. A licensed physician reviews your results.

How does Halftime work, step by step?

From joining to a physician-prescribed protocol:

1. Join and choose a membership plan.
2. A guided collection kit ships to your door.
3. Collect your sample at home in minutes, and mail it back in the prepaid package.
4. A CLIA-certified lab analyzes your panel. Your results arrive in the Halftime app.
5. A licensed physician reviews your results and your intake, and decides whether a protocol is appropriate.
6. If it is, the physician prescribes it. It is filled by licensed 503A compounding pharmacies and shipped to your door cold-chain.
7. You retest on your plan, and the physician adjusts your protocol from your new numbers.

Can I get help between physician reviews?

Yes. Ask Hana answers general questions about your protocols, symptoms, shipping and membership using publicly available information. Hana does not give medical advice, and connects you with your physician. You can also book a physician follow-up on demand in your member portal for $49.

How long does a physician take to decide?

Once you request a protocol, a physician decides within 12 hours, usually in under an hour. If a physician prescribes something, it is typically in your hands in about nine days. Whether anything is prescribed is the physician’s decision.

Are Halftime protocols supplements?

No. A protocol is a prescription-grade therapy that a physician decides on, not an off-the-shelf supplement. It needs three things: a baseline blood panel, a licensed physician’s decision, and ongoing monitoring with repeat blood work. You cannot buy a protocol without a prescription.

Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved and have not been evaluated by FDA for safety or effectiveness.

What supports a prescription?

A baseline biomarker blood panel establishes a safety baseline and clinical need. A licensed physician then reviews your results and history, and decides whether a protocol is appropriate, including the dose, the administration route, and safety.

Will my physician explain side effects and when to stop?

Yes. Before any prescription, your physician reviews side effects, contraindications, your other medications, and when to stop. You confirm informed consent before a protocol starts.

How often do I retest?

Retest cadence depends on your membership plan. Each plan includes its testing cadence: one panel a year on Essentials, two a year on Optimizer, four a year on Elite. Every plan draws the same panel. You can also order a panel on demand at any time, $249 each. Every plan includes quarterly physician reviews, and your physician adjusts your protocol from your new results.

What happens if a result is abnormal?

Your physician reviews every panel before prescribing any protocol.

What does membership include?

Your membership covers your lab panels, the app, marketplace access, and coordination of physician reviews with our independent physician network. Every protocol is available on every plan, as its own subscription. The only thing a higher tier buys is more testing. Membership never includes medication.

• Essentials, $39 a month: one blood panel a year, starting at onboarding, quarterly physician reviews, app and marketplace access.
• Optimizer, $59 a month: two blood panels a year, one every six months, quarterly physician reviews, app and marketplace access.
• Elite, $99 a month: four blood panels a year, one every quarter, quarterly physician reviews, app and marketplace access.

Can I add blood panels?

Yes. Order one whenever you need it, $249 on any plan. It is the same panel every plan includes.

Is membership HSA or FSA eligible?

Your blood panels and physician reviews may be HSA/FSA eligible. The membership fee, app access, and medications are generally not. Medication eligibility depends on your individual diagnosis. Check with your plan administrator.

Can I change plans later?

Anytime. Move up for more testing, or step down - your data and history follow you across every tier.

What is the founding-member fridge?

A temperature-controlled mini fridge, included for founding members. Many protocols are kept cold. The fridge keeps yours at the right temperature at home. For our first 500 members. Choose black or white at checkout.

What is the total monthly cost?

There is a membership, and the total monthly cost depends on which protocols you select and a physician prescribes during your review. Membership is $39, $59 or $99 a month, and each protocol is $10 to $270 a month.

How much do protocols cost?

Protocols range from $10 to $270 a month, on top of membership. Typically, by outcome: Hormone Optimization $70 to $95; Medical Weight Loss $150 to $270; Sexual Health $10 to $150; Longevity $130 to $235; Performance & Recovery $10 to $270; Hair Restoration $10 to $270; Skin $10 to $270. You are not charged for a protocol until a physician approves it. After that, your membership and your protocols are one monthly charge. You see the exact price before you pay. If the physician approves a different build of your protocol, the price can change, and you are told before you are billed. Shipping is passed through at cost.

What kinds of protocols does Halftime offer?

Protocols are grouped by the outcome you want, in 8 categories. A physician decides which protocol, if any, fits your labs and goals. More protocols are available through your physician, based on your labs and goals.

Halftime is expanding into sleep, nutrition and lifestyle support. As part of that plan, the marketplace will add non-prescription products.

Where do the medications come from?

Prescriptions are filled by licensed 503A compounding pharmacies. Compounded medication is patient-specific: it is made for you from your physician’s prescription, and shipped to your door cold-chain. Every protocol is prescription-only.

How is this different from research-use-only products sold online?

Research-use-only products are sold for the lab bench, not for people. Halftime does the opposite. Every protocol is prescription-only, a licensed physician reviews your labs before prescribing, and a licensed pharmacy fills the prescription.

How do billing, cancellation and refunds work?

Your first charge at signup covers your blood panel and physician review. Monthly membership billing begins one month after you confirm a prescribed protocol or, if the physician does not prescribe one, one month after you joined. Memberships renew monthly. Before the renewal that starts each new 3-month cycle, we send a reminder at least 14 days ahead, so there is time for your blood test, goal review, and physician review. Other months, you get a receipt when we charge. You can cancel anytime; cancellation is effective through the moment of the next charge. Once a protocol starts, your membership and your protocols are one monthly charge. Compounded medication is made for one patient, so it cannot be returned or refunded once it ships. The exact terms for when you are charged, when a cancellation takes effect, and when a refund applies are in the policies below. Read them before you join. If your state’s law gives you more rights, those rights apply.

What if nothing is prescribed?

Your first charge at signup covers your blood panel and physician review. Monthly membership billing begins one month after you confirm a prescribed protocol or, if the physician does not prescribe one, one month after you joined. You keep your panel and your results. Membership continues unless you cancel. If you cancel and nothing has shipped, operations may refund by hand. Refunds are not automatic. Cancel anytime. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.

How is my health information protected?

Halftime applies HIPAA administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to your protected health information (PHI). Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and role-based access controls limit who can view your records. Your PHI stays with your care, off advertising platforms.
